It was a day of hiking up in Hurricane Ridge. Expectations for photography was muted because the prime purpose was portions of the Hurricane Hill Trail. I dusted off the Canon EOS 20D and 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens and gave as good as I got. As to a tripod and macro work, they were not an option.

Mountain goats were introduced is the 1920s, starting in 2018, Park Services has been capturing and returning most of them to the North Cascades. (In 2010, a hiker died in an encounter in the park.)
